The 2018 general election in PP-282 Layyah was contested by several
candidates, with Muhammad Tahir Randhawa ultimately winning the seat. He
received 37607 votes, while his closest competitor Qaiser Abbas Khan from PTI
secured 26992 votes. Muhamad Riaz from PMLN came in third with 25556 votes,
followed by Muhammad Rasheed from PPPP with 3731 votes. Sajjad Ahmad from TLP
